Chino is set to embark upon his highly-anticipated Spring 2024 Comedy Tour, and the first stop is none other than Stand Up Honolulu, Hawai‘i’s premier comedy club. Chino LaForge is a true Hawaiian talent who has been making audiences roar with laughter across the Aloha State and throughout the continental United States for over 15 years. He’s a versatile performer who can effortlessly adapt to any audience, weathering hecklers with clever crowd work and sharing his own unpredictable anecdotes. His charisma and knack for storytelling will capture your full attention, and his wordplay and ability to tackle taboo subjects with humor will leave you wanting more.
In 2010, Chino and Ted founded Power Up Comedy, a production company that nurtures talent and produces top-notch shows featuring local and national acts. Over the years, Chinohas shared the stage with comedy legends such as Hannibal Buress, Ari Shaffir, Jamie Kennedy, Jeff Dye, and worked with Chris Redd and James Austin Johnson of “Saturday Night Live.” He’s performed on numerous stages across Hawai‘i for theatre, improv and stand up, while also appearing as a radio and TVpersonality. Chino earned the title of “Maui’s Best Comic” multiple times, and even toured with Steve-O of MTV’s “Jackass” across the Hawaiian Islands.
Chino LaForge’s comedic journey has taken him far and wide,from living in Los Angeles to touring in various stand up meccas, including New York, the Pacific Northwest, Las Vegas, Colorado, the West Coast and the Midwest. He’s played at casinos nationwide, planned cross-country tours, and memorably opened for the legendary Cheech & Chong in front of thousandsin Lahaina, Maui.
In addition to his stand-up success, Chino is now starring in the hit new television comedy series, “Moku Moku,” an entirely-local production, made on Maui. This multi-talented comedian is taking the entertainment world by storm, both on and off the stage.
